Hi Joe , am thinking about camping on the sat and bought a new tent and am in the process of buying all the other stuff to go with it.
A lot depends on the weather leading up to it as the mrs has never been camping and i'd like her to see the nice side before the enevitable.
Are you camping on the saturday night ? would be good to get some beers and a communal barby going if yourself and anyone else were up for it ?
I believe that a few members of the club committee are staying in a local B+B.

We have booked in for camping but like you guys a lot depends on the weather.

i'll be camping, going for an early start on the saturday morning at a nice and steady pace .

Just sent my forms off, late but I have checked its cool and will get a pass! Just to clarify although I am not a mk3 club member are we all converging together? All being well the Green Goddess will be there!

All been well i will be there, try and get the numbers up! Fair bit of work to do prior to it inc refit all glass and rebuild engine then test it. But all been well i should make it, give or take bodywork being started so ime afraid its not good to look at. Going with the old theory of "at least its there"  see you there! |

Me too. I'll be there with blistering paint, rusty screw heads, cracked lenses, peeling paint, torn dash, torn seat, ripped rubber carpets, an as withdrawn from service engine bay to die for, rotting cloth wiring and horror of horrors non matching radial tyres  luvving it already Arthur |

It is concerning but it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that there could be an odd sunny day here and there. The good thing about Gaydon is most of it is on Tarmac and i think there is enough of it to not need what grassed areas there is. The chances of it being called off i would suggest are nil.
