I have the Capri and zodiac struts side by side. I have removed the 24v caliper and it is ready to fit. Next is the zodiac hub which i have removed and it fits fine on the Capri strut. Here is where im stuck. The Cossie disc goes over the hub with the wheels going out through it. The zodiac is bolted on behind the hub. is a spacer needed or a modified mount for the caliper to get it to reach the Cossie disc. Any help would be great.

I Have the capri xmember on and in place. I am using the zodiac hubs on the capri leg with 24v disca and calipers. The offset from the caliper to the caliper mount is a width of 30mm.I will post a pic when i can.Is this ok? Also is it 4 inches down from the zodiac top mount to the new mount for the capri legs?

I have read this link and I think that while he gives good advice my situation is slighlty different I am using zodiac hubs with cosworth braking and the 24v lump is heavier and the 12v valve which caused his suspension to bottom out.

Sorry to hijack the thread but does it matter what capri the strut and cross member comes from. Mk1,2 or 3? Or are they all the same? And you use the same mk capri steering rack yeah?

Adamski,, I used mk 2 but 2-3 are the same,,you can use either a Capri column or a triumph,, mine was a stag / dolomite unit,, it's quite a simple swap really but most definitely worth it,, handling is so much better,,I took the zephyr disc etc, it fitted straight on
