Thank you for allowing me to join the club I recently purchased a zodiac Mk3 needing quite a lot of putting together The bodywork appears solid…… I believe it was owned by an ex member from around the Ashford area I bought it from a guy in West London . it needs quite a lot of parts as you might be able to see from my advert in parts wanted section I will add some photos once I can work out how I can do that

Hi. Thank you for letting me join. I am from Ireland. I have just purchased a 1964 Zephyr 4 and look forward to working on it. Am sure I will require plenty of advice from you as work progresses!

If you go alloy I personally think slot mags look best. There used to be a beflamed Zodiac about (think it was owned by a nurse) and the spoked alloys just weren't right to me. As I recall 6" x 14" front and 7" x 14" rear don't cause clearance issues. But the rear springs have to be in tip top condition! Personally I think wide steels with chrome hubcaps look best.
If down the line you want to update the engine I would suggest a 3.2 Essex V6 or small block Ford but NOT a Rover V8 as it's not a Ford!

Sorry! There was another thread called "Intoduction" and after over 60 summers I sometimes struggle with the screens on smart (well mine seems stupid) phones. I will leave the info as it might be useful to someone...
