New to the club but have been a fan of the Mk 3 Zodiac for years having rebuilt a 1964 model in the early 70's! giving my age away now!!
I'm in the Manchester area and in the 70's was a member of "The Rainy City Cruisers" (no need to explain the club name!) The days of car customising I'm sorry to upset all you classic keep them original people. However that was then and at the time I ran a couple of show winning customs and also worked on friends cars as well. The 64 Zodiac was really stock apart from wide alloy wheels (had to find them in America along with low profile tyres as hardly anyone at the time sold alloy wheels and low profile tyres) it also had a show winning airbrush paint job with a Pegasus on the bonnet! I later sold the car to a friend who removed the rear window, blanked it off and fitted a slot type rear window, vinyl roof and repainted it red. It did look well. The reason for the message is to ask if anyone knows if it still around? The DVLA still has the registration on file so who knows may well be out there somewhere? Reg was ACB870B. Should anyone have any info on it please get in touch.
