Hi everyone,
I have just bought a Mk3 Ford Zodiac saloon, 4 speed, column change, here in Cornwall . Its showing 38,000 and 12 former keepers and runs on unleaded fuel. it has been in a farm shed for the last three years but was well cared for and improved from 2000 to 2015.
It has the 2553 cc engine and my objective is to bring it up to running order and clean it up for sale.
I had to clean off the discs and drums to make the wheels rotate freely. The tyres are firestone, and look hardly used.
I was able to jack it up on its jacking points to do the wheels and have , after the introduction of some oil to the bores, rotated the engine on the starter motor.
" No spark at the distributor " is where I'm at ,at the moment.
Might be looking for some ignition electric bits in the near future. At the moment I'm working with what I've got to see what works and what does not!
