Hi all, and thanks for allowing me to join. Like a few other recent newbies, I used to be in "The Club" back in the black and white times in the 1980's. I seem to remember my membership number was 83. Attended a few meetings and shows, but as a know nothing twenty something, back then, I probably wasn't the most active or enthusiastic member.
I did own a Zephyr 4 registration CHX 565A back then. Once I've worked out how to post pictures on here I'll put couple up. She did win a couple of trophies too, one for travelling furthest distance to the show, and the other for being the best non Hillman at a Rootes gathering. To this day they sit in pride of place, in a box in the loft somewhere!!
Bit older, and allegedly, wiser these days, nearing retirement now and thinking, well I could?? maybe? something to tinker with... Hmm, can't sit there watching daytime telly all day, you know the feeling, gotta do something!! Best start looking for another one.
