Hi all, I'm currently restoring my late fathers mk111, it eas restored by my dad in the mid 80's but he always felt it would need a bare metal respray next time round so here we are 35 years on and quite a few quid later, thanks dad !!!! Lol.
I'm hoping some members may remember this car and my dad (Alan Veryard) from his days with the club. The car is a sable brown Reg:- KTW 709C.

Hi Stephen. Yes I remember your Dad and his car , not sure which shows but I used to do lots, started with Bluebell railway and many more over the years. I seem to remember Alan saying he used the Zodiac for his work car, it was always admired by all.

Peter Dean is no longer a club member but his car is still in the club. Bill George and Steve Shears are still on the committee. I think you are referring to Jack Ovenden, who sadly passed away a few years ago.

Your dad has now come back to me. I cannot place a face to the name at the moment but remember the big Bluebell Railway meets. In addition I remember the runs in his memory held in October for a number of years. I would actually like to see a yearly run in memory of all members who have passed
