Hi, Paul here from Hampshire, I have a 1965 mk3 Zodiac, I bought it about three months ago,i have been out in it a few times and having never owned or driven one before loved the experience, it's laid up at the moment having some work done but hope to have it useable again in the near future, ps thanks for accepting my membership.

Thanks Joe and Michael, I'm finding I am having to do more repairs than expected on this car, mostly mechanical as the body is sound, being more used to modern motors I'm finding this takes me back to when I first started on the spanners and love the simplicity of it, once I figure it out I will try to upload some photos and if I get stuck hopefully I can find answers here.

Hi James here from bootiful Cornwall. I have just treated myself to a 1964 Zephyr 6 as a little 50th birthday present for myself. I was originally looking for a Ford Anglia as it was my first car when I was 16 (bought from Cornish ford for£100) but realised they are a bit small for taking the family out in, this is when I came across the Zephyr. I never driven a column change before and I love it.Thanks for letting me join the forum I'm sure I'll have loads of questions.

Hi James, Another 6 in Cornwall, whereabouts, I'm in Hayle, if your close buy would be good to possibly meet up and compare motors!

Hi James, Another 6 in Cornwall, whereabouts, I'm in Hayle, if your close buy would be good to possibly meet up and compare motors! I know Hayle. A few years ago I stayed in the White Hart. It was a bit eccentric! Also discovered Warren's Bakery which served the best pasties I have ever tasted - the chef had gone walkabout. The Sunday afternoon music session was great! 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah Hayle, used to go there most years back in the late seventies early eighties some very mad nights in the Bluff up on the Towens. There used to be a great pasti bakery somewhere near the Birds of Paradise place....

Hi James, Another 6 in Cornwall, whereabouts, I'm in Hayle, if your close buy would be good to possibly meet up and compare motors! I private messaged James soon after he left his above comment asking where about’s in Cornwall he is as like you I thought if he was close by would be good to meet up following my thread I made earlier in the year regarding members in Cornwall/Devon. I only private messaged him in case he didn’t feel comfortable saying where he was for all to see on this thread but I’ve not heard back as yet.

Sorry I haven't got back to you all been busy with one thing or another. I'm in St.Dennis near St.Austell so I'm pretty much in between Launceston and Hayle. A meet up after Crimbo would be ideal.

Let's see if we can sort something after Xmas, have to be a good day thought, the old girl doesn't go out much this time of the year, could do without encouraging the rust!
