I saw today that Classic Ford will be held at Mallory Park on 7th June from 10:00 to 17:00. It is a few years since I last went to Classic Ford. The ones I went to were initially at Silverstone before it moved to Santa Pod. Last time I went there were minimal pre-70 cars there. There were quite a few Mk I and II Escorts, newer FWD ones especially Cossies and Turbos, some Sierras, a few Fiestas, etc. I saw a couple of Mk II Zephyrs/Zodiacs but no Mk IIIs. For a proper Classic Ford show I would like to see at least 30 Mk I/II/III/IVs and even a Model T. I will update when I know more.

I have written it on the calendar with a view to attend. I intend on going to every classic car show I can this year no matter the distance.

I will decide nearer the time when hopefully the type of cars attendimmg might be clearer. Not keen if the majority are eighties/nineties...

I must say, I would be disappointed if it was as you say Michael 80’s and90’s cars, I think I will also wait before committing.

If you Google "Classic Ford 2019" you will find a number of videos. A quick skim through suggests it is mainly the newer classics. I will take a close look later...
The Go-To event this year will be the Club's 40th Anniversary one. I will probably go in my Ford built Jaguar...

I will have a quick look. I have already bought tickets and registered my car for a Gaydon. Really looking forward to it, I’ve just been looking at hotels as I think I am goin* up on a Friday and making a weekend of it with family members. I was thinking about your car today and wishing we could swap the box for you, we’ve still got a few months!
