This used to be Classic Ford. It has been about three years since I last went. Sadly what I found over the years was that the classic content dropped quickly. There will be some classics (Anglias, RWD Escorts, Cortinas and the occasional CZZ) on the strip but mainly I imagine hot hatches and similar. Last time I found more if interest in the car park! You also get a few clubs and merchandising.
I have posted it for the sake of completeness - more details in the Pod's website
If I go somewhere that weekend it might be the World Hot Rod Championships at Foxhall Heath, Ipswich. I have many memories of George Polley's and Barry Lee's battles there!

Haven't been to this for 7 or 8 years now, didn't realise the name had changed. Went to the first few after it split off from Ford Fair.
I think after you've seen Top Fuel, Pro Mod etc normal road cars look a bit pathetic on the strip!
Don't suppose the argument over what counts as a classic will ever be settled, the newest Ford that I have any interest in is the Escort RS Cosworth but then again I was a ten year old kid when it came out. Probably for a lot of people the last proper classic Fords are mk2 Escort, Mk5 Cortina, Mk3 Capri, Mk2 Granada ie. when they went to plastic bumpers and/or fwd.....

There's a brilliant quote from someone involved in the London to Brighton run when they decided to let post 1906 cars enter, along the lines of:
".....allowing these boy racers in their 1907 motor cars to lower the tone of the event"
