Classics in the Walled Garden has just been announced. I have been a number of times both as an exhibitor and a spectator. It is a really pleasant late afternoon/evening with a wide variety of classic cars and motorcycles. As the venue also caters for weddings and other events it has its own caterers which mean genuinely good burgers/sausage s/hog roast (some years) together with a selection of real ales/Pimms/soft drinks/etc... Over the years I have only seen a couple of Mk IIIs and it would be really good to see a small selection such as a 4, 6, Zodiac and an estate. The organisers have no objection to people creating a small club stand in the paddock Details are available on the website:- www.petermadden.co.uk/ or feel free to contact me via this thread or a PM...

Only a week to go now. I have not heard of anyone taking a Mk III Zephyr/Zodiac - it would definitely be good to see some. I have checked with the organisers and there is plenty of space left (the adjacent paddock is vast). Entry is £7 on the night and it would help if you had the right money to hand. Or just come and check out the cars... Be cool - be there... :-8)

The only big Ford (bar Yanks) I saw (out of ~ 700 cars) was a post-war Pilot. Obviously I may have missed something as there was rather too much coming and going! There were two nice PAs that arrived separately although being light blue and pink respectively they looked like "his 'n' hers".
