This was a combined Classic Car and Military Show to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the end of WW II. I visited it at short notice (which s why I did not post it on Saturday) after being told about it by my niece who lives nearby in Whitstable. It also gave us the chance to meet up with her, her partner and their line year old son (my great nephew). Whilst they are all fans of my Zodiac they are in the process of restoring a seriously rusty VW Type 2 Camper… To my knowledge the only Z-car there was a Mk II Consul. However there were some great Yanks, an Austin Countryman similar to the one my late mother used to own (scrapped because of rust at five years of age!), a customised Ka (my sister owns one) and a reminder of what we smoked when we were young. Hope I manage to attach the photos this time… Attachments:

The next couple of photos are of better quality as they are off a different device. The Austin Countryman reminded me of the one my late mother owned around 40 years ago. She brought it at three years of age and scrapped it with terminal rust! It was the fastest rusting car she ever owned. The cigarettes were at a WW II Naffi display. Like me many of you will remember some of the brands from your youth (mis-spent or otherwise). No Capstan Full Strength to be seen though! Attachments:
