I live just above the floods on the edge of the Somerset levels near the village that was an island for most of last winter. As a job, I look after quite a few, mainly pre-war cars for local customers, specialising in OHC MGs. My wife runs a Vintage shop in Ilminster and between us we own six pre-1970 cars which are used whenever possible. These range from a '31 MG through Bedford Ambulance to '69 Morris Oxford estate. I also have a couple of Harleys and an NSU Quickly, and a 25cc Cyclemaster. We also enjoy a couple of Portafold folding caravans at events through the summer. I have just exhumed a Mk3 Zephyr4 that hasn't turned a wheel since 1971. Abandoned in a local village garage for some, now forgotten, problem and filled with cardboard boxes and stuff, it will see the light of day again this year. Still early days, but it rolls on new tyres now, which is a good start. Once I find my way around the forum I may post some shots of the project.

Hello and welcome! Sounds like an intersting collection of cars you have there. I am sure nobody would mind if you included a few pics of them with those of your Mk III. The rain last year was really unusual. A few of the minor roads were impassable for over four weeks around here. A couple still flood after heavy rain yet the local highways department prefer to install speed humps!
