Just for info, I've got a 1989 Range Rover 4ltr V8 petrol, which I put an LPG conversion kit on about 8 years ago, so it is duel fuel, the results I've had are disapointing overall, although there is a small saving in running costs, so to sum up; on Petrol it does 15 mpg around town going up to 23 mpg on a motorway run; whereas on Gas it does 10 mpg in town and up to 17 mpg on a run; so Petrol at £1.37 and Gas at £0.88; work out the maths for youseves; I reckon with hindsight bearing in mind the initial capital outlay of £900 just for parts (twin tanks underneath), I wouldn't do it again; still, at least I do have an option now, and I suppose eventually it'll pay for it's self, regard, Col, from sunny I.O.W.
