Hi Folks , A recent members question gave the idea that a a detailed forum function guide may be useful with those who aren't familiar with using an internet forum or maybe some experienced users could benefit from a detailed explanation in order to get the most from the site.
I'm happy to put one together when time permits.
What do you all think, do we need this or are you all finding your way around ok ?

Mick I think it would help some people. I know I still don't know how to turn a photo of my car into an avatar, and I also need to work out how to post more than one photo in a post. I know some Brummie lads can be a bit thick , but I suspect there might be others out there who would find a forum guide of some use. Martin

Mick Any sort of forum guide would be good, especially posting avatar or photos (more than one per post) John

Yes, I would like to know how to change the colour scheme. I am really not getting on with this white on black look . Sorry to hear that Ed however its the only colour scheme that is available at the moment . When i find a spare 4 hours i'll make one up as a lighter option for those logging on at midnight with tired eyes and no natural light in the room. In the meantime may i suggest tilting your monitor or laptop screen. Thanks to all who have replied , i'll get on the case with the guides etc after the show and post each guide topic in the existing 'New members please read before posting' section. At some point in the near future proboards will be switching to Version 5 Beta for all its forums which will have a few extra whistles and bells.

Ok folks , now that the dust from the show has died down , could you pinpoint some areas of the board that your having trouble getting to grips with.
I've added some guides in the forum announcements section so please check there with any problems first.
