Hi Folks , Just wondering what classic car magazines you read ....what you like about them / what you don't like and what you might like to see in them ?

I have bought Practical Classics since it first came out. I notice the latest edition has a couple of photos of a certain blue Zodiac...

I read all of them occasionaly, too much cash to buy them all the time. It would help if there wer'n't so many (I think there are about three that just hav classc/retro/performance Ford) still I will have to look out for this current issue!

So no one has any criticisms of the mags ( apart from price) or things they'd like to see that aren't in there already? Incidentally this is not about persecuting a particular mag, its more about putting your ideas forward in what would attract you to a classic car mag

I'm in Eddies camp, I have bought Practical Classics since 1986 and bought back issues from issue No 1 way back in 1988 to complete the set. Now all in binders, easy to access but takes up so much room Still enjoy the mag too, I have bought and read other mags as well.

I used to buy the occasional mag but only if there was a particular article that interested me, these days I don't even do that...the present cover prices have done it for me. Tony

Thirty years ago I brought lots of (car/motorbike) magazines - these included Custom Car, Hot Car, Car Mechanics, Triple C, Autocar, Motor as well as various Classic ones. The only ones I now tend to read are Practical Classics and Classic Bike unless there is a specific article that is of interest.
