Hi my names Trev and I live in Devon. Thanks for accepting me to the group. I've got an interest in cars in general but classics are my favourite. I've just sold my Mk1 Consul and have a bought a Mk3 Zodiac. Luckily i found it in Devon so it was a bonus. No 100's of miles travelling as per normal! I'll add some photos when I've taken some. The plan is to modify it and put a V8 in there so the straight six will be coming out. Cheers for now Trev

Hi and welcome Trevor, I hate to worry you but there are lots of shananagins going on at the moment regarding modified cars and DVLA so don't be in too much of a rush to start with your mods, In a nutshell the free historic tax and (as from April) MOT will require a declaration that the car is not significantly modified. Nobody seems to be quite sure how this is going to affect things so make sure you do all your homework about the eight point rule etc

Hello and welcome! I think it's worth holding back as if a car becomes non-historic some insurance companies will see it as an opportunity to increase premiums...
