Hello everyone! My name is Axel, I'm 19 years old, and I live in Nyköping, Sweden. I have a 1964 Ford Zodiac at home, which was my dad's before. He didn't want to own it any more, so he gave it to me. It's in restoration shape, but a few months ago it passed all the tests at the motor vehicle inspection, so now it's approved for the road, and I'm very happy. I'm looking forward to getting advise about the car from all of you, and I hope I will be able to use them properly.

Hi Axel, I'm Colin from Isle of Wight in southern England, and I'm an old "git" with one or two spare parts that I may willing to part with, try me from time to time, you never know! But, meanwhile, enjoy what is becoming a much more better driving experience than the usual "euro crap plastic-fantastic" offerinngs of today, keep classics going!

Hello! I will upload some pictures as soon as have some time, probably in a day or two. The swedish test for classic cars isn't so different from the regular test, you go to the same place as the regular test, and they check the brakes, the suspension, all the lights, they check the exhaust for leaks, the body for rust, then they fix with the carrburettor and the carbon dioxide levels. Then they drive it around the block just to get a feeling of everything, so I guess the only difference is that they are not as strict with classic cars. For example, they pass classic cars without seat belts(of course), and I don't think windscreen washer is necessary to have either.
By the way, I need the rubber seal for the wind screen, the old one feels like biscuits, anyone know an easy way to get a hold on one?
