I have been sent the email below about the ACE and the effects of the "Rule of Six". In my current situation I think it will be next year before I can visit but suspect CovID will drag on for a while yet!
Ace Cafe Meets The latest Government announcement states that from Monday 14th September, we must not meet with people from other households socially in groups of more than 6.
This applies indoors and outdoors, and simplifies and clarifies the rules on social gatherings, so they are easier to understand and easier to enforce.
As a COVID-19 Secure venue, Ace Cafe London can still host larger numbers in total but groups of up to 6 must not mix or form larger groups anywhere on site at the Ace, this includes the cafes car park. Over the next few days we will be reviewing the new Government guidelines to ensure 100% compliance.
We will not be hosting ANY meets at the Ace any time or day from the 14th September until further notice.
Due to the current Covid-19 circumstances and to ensure everyone attending stays safe, NO meets, clubs or groups of people will be allowed in the car park. We will be operating a first-come first-served policy which includes access to both the Cafe and the carpark perimeter.
Any clubs or groups planning to visit the Ace over the next few weeks need to be cancelled without further delay. Our car park will be open for regular Visitors / Diners for our Cafe.
On a positive note, we will extend our opening hours from 8.00 am to 9.00 pm every day except Friday which we remain closing at 6.00 pm It may be necessary from time to restrict entry if we reach full capacity.
With this in mind, we want to thank all of our diligent customers who have supported the cafe since we reopened after lockdown. A special thanks to all of you that travelled long distances to visit us during the Reunion. You have all been fantastic in complying with the safety regulations.
