Hi All,
Just like to say hello to you all. I have had my Zodaic mk3 near 34 years now. Its been in bits for over 24 years after it got fire at a fuel station...
I have now started work on it and hoping to get it on the road by the end of the year with your help...
On that note I'm looking for any information on the vehicle itself- IE paint code? it was white -interior codes? used to be Canterbury green the chassis information plate perished in the fire..
The Vehicle registration plate is GTW259B it's a floor change with bucket seats green...
Any helpful information would be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you
Hammer

Hello mate and welcom. I'm a bit confused when you say it is white but used to be green, do mean that you want to paint it green again? haveyou got any photos?

Hello and welcome! I took the liberty of checking on the DVLA website and the good news is that your car is on it. Paperwork can be a real headache if they have lost the details as another forum member found. Puzzlingly its colour is given as black! I think it would be worth you joining the club as besides meets and a bimonthly magazine you will have access to club spares and be able to advertise for parts. The loss of the VIN plate is a pain. When manufactured the VIN number was stamped on the top of the O/S strut mounting. Sometimes it survives even after playing. Keep us updated...

Thank you all for your response. I checked with the DVLA prior to joining the club and the vehicle was still on its data base.Great news. DVLA states the colour as black? Since I have had the car it's had a white exterior with green interior over the last 34 years. It was only black when it caught fire. lol. I have done lots to the body work done to date. And after carefully studying what was left from the VIN Plate I have managed to gain some information from it. The Paint code is BA? which i think is emerald white? The code I'm having trouble with is the Trim code I can only make out 33 no letters can be seen with the code? I think it should be Canterbury green? Any feedback would be welcome...

I have never seen a white MK3 with a green interior, maybe it was an option but most white cars had black or red interiors. it could also have been fitted from another car.

Hi Hammer The code BA is Ermine white. The only interior colour I can find with 33in the code is Kingston blue which was used on the Zephyr estate ( with carpets fitted ) I can't find a colour called Canterbury green anywhere ??

All the early Lotus Corrinas were Ermine White but as mentioned there was more than one shade of it. The green flash was in Sherwood Green...
The only reference I can find to Canterbury Green is as an exterior colour for the 103E and the Mk I Consul, Zephyr and Zodiac...
