Got there after an interesting tour – saw some beautigful countryside that I must explore in more detail sometime. I must remember to put the road atlas back in the Brand X! Great to see so many Mk IIIs – it must have been the largest gathering in over twenty years. Does anyone know the final number? My Zodiac should look like AOP 248 B (10th photo down) when it is back on the road although my front indicators are clear. Hope things don’t prove to expensive Eddie.

I would like to thank all those who organised the 50th anniversary rally. It was the first time I have attended a club rally and Jan and I really enjoyed ourselves. With so much to See including the heritage centre itself our only regret was not spending more time talking to other club members.
Hopefully we can rectify this on our next excursion. In the days leading up to the rally I had serious doubts about attending due to recent poor health, but I'm very glad to to be able to say I was there.
Once again my sincere thanks to the committee and club members who made it possible.
Many, many thanks
Steve & Jan Hembry

Hi All, can I send my thanks to Len, Arthur and everyone involved in the organising of the Gaydon event and all the members (and non-members) who attended to make the Club day an absolutely wonderful and memorable day! I have been a club member for 27 years and have been to many a Club day but this one I can say was one of the best one I have been to. It was certainly a brilliant sight to see all the MK3's there and the quality of the vehicles presented was outstanding! Don't know what other superlatives I can add. Thanks once again to everyone and here's to the next 50 years of this wonderful Ford creation! John

I can only echo the previous comments. Thanks to Arthur, Len, Bill and anyone else involved - it really was a great achievement to get over 50 cars there. They even arranged a welcome change in the weather!
